Product Description

Magic, miracle, no it’s a reflex. Dr. Karp’s discoveries about babies means most parents can soothe even colicky babies in minutes?or less?AND boost sleep 1-3 hours/night.

Most parents (especially dads) say it's easier to learn this amazing approach by watching than by reading. The Happiest Baby DVD is the most watched parenting video in history! Watch as Dr. Karp shows a treasure sought by parents for centuries... the "calming reflex" (an automatic "off-switch" for crying and "on-switch" for sleep all babies are born with).

Learn how to easily transport any baby from screams to sleepy serenity...in minutes. No wonder millions of parents, from working moms to superstars like Madonna and Michelle Pfeiffer have turned to Dr. Karp to learn his secrets for making babies happy. (Then read The Happiest Baby book for lots more practical tips about babies!)

5 out of 5 stars The Happiest Baby on the Block   July 27, 2010
J. Whitaker
I have given this DVD to a few pregnant couples who absolutely love it and says it works most of the time, it depends on the temperment of the baby. The information is very well presented.

5 out of 5 stars A Must Have For Every New Parent!!   June 24, 2010
J. Newton (Los Angeles, CA USA)
In desperation my husband and I took to the internet to try and figure out how to get our newborn to stop crying and go to sleep. After a few Google searches a review of this book came up with the recommendation to buy the DVD instead as it was a much faster "how to" to get to action on the baby soothing strategy. It was a life saver. My husband balked at the cost. But, after it's proven results with our little one, he said he would have paid a million dollars for it! I buy it as a gift for any first-time parents I know.

5 out of 5 stars Daughter loves this DVD   June 21, 2010
J. Paul (York, Pa. USA)
Bought this as a replacement for one that got lost due to passing it around the family. My daughter cannot manage without this DVD! She LOVES it. Used it OFTEN with the first child and is now due to deliver her second son this week. It must work because my grandson is truly the Happiest Baby on the Block!

5 out of 5 stars BEST baby gift ever--turns off crying FAST   June 15, 2010
Candace Drimmer (Chicago IL)
My daughter had me watch with her--and I thought, ah. California? But it works, to my amazement--there is an on switch to crying (once other issues are dealt with). Inspired her to get a swing--to help once I'm gone, especially given she has a 3 1/2 year old too. Bravo.

3 out of 5 stars Good, but video not necessary.   May 29, 2010
Rowe (Moline, Illinois)
Everything I learned on this video was easily accessible by doing a google search online. For those who are visual learners, this might be for you. We only use the swaddling technique for our son, as he loves to throw his arms and legs around. Not really worth the money in my opinion. Useful for the very early days, probably up to two months.
